The Downhole Agitator is a friction-reduction and vibration-assist tool designed for directional drilling, extended-reach drilling (ERD), and horizontal sections. As modern wells increase in displacement and complexity, higher friction and poor weight transfer can reduce drilling efficiency and increase the risk of downhole issues during sliding.
By generating controlled pressure pulses and axial vibration, the agitator helps improve weight-on-bit (WOB) transmission, reduce friction between the BHA and wellbore, and support smoother sliding performance under demanding drilling conditions.
